The “Collaborative Design Solutions”
process we employ involves a few simple steps.
EDUCATION
The first step is education, for both of us. Our showroom
has been designed to display a wide variety of cabinet
design styles, door selections, counter choices and finish
options. In addition, our Cabinet Comparison Wall allows you
to clearly see the differences in cabinet construction
details and quality. Our showroom and design team will make
you an educated consumer.
Your initial visit will give you an opportunity to educate
us on the details of your project. It is critical for us to
understand your desires and needs for the project so we can
begin to define the scope as well as the constraints.
DESIGN FIGURE ANALYSIS
During the site visit we will further discuss the details of
the project, take measurements and complete an initial
design concepts, measurements and physical and mechanical
needs will be identified. If the project is for new
construction the work is generally done from architectural
drawings. This visit is the time that general design
concepts are developed with you. The walk through and
discussions can take several hours.
Once the broad concepts and constraints of the project have
been identified it is time to enter into the Project
Planning Agreement. The agreement requires us to provide a
finished floor plan and perspectives based on your preferred
layout, obtain subcontractor quotes for the required work,
prepare a comprehensive project cost estimate, develop a
schedule of cost options and deliver it all at a final
meeting where each detail is explained and a final design is
reached. When the project is designed to your satisfaction
we enter into a contract for execution of the project.
INSTALLATION
We will provide a timeline of the installation and schedule
meetings to keep you informed of progress and review
completed work. While design changes are always expensive,
they are generally less so when handled early in the
process. Our installation teams will move quickly and
professionally to complete the project. ENJOYMENT
Your involvement in the “Collaborative Design Solutions”
process will ensure that your new kitchen, bath, closet or
entertainment area will bring you years of enjoyment. |
